Years of experience have taught us many ways
to address challenges that pop up in your yard and sprinkler
system. We will frequently recommend some of these tricks as
we get to know you and your property. Some examples below.
1. Chronically wet areas around property. Most
service techs use a primary program to run all of the zones
in your sprinkler system but it isn't necessary. Most modern
Controllers have multiple programs and multiple frequency settings
for each. Using these tools we can move a zone that is always
too wet to a different program and reduce the frequency and
or reduce the time of application.
2. Chronically dry areas. Again we can manipulate
controller for more water. Sometimes even less water more often,
especially on slopes can be more beneficial.
3. Water bills. A major factor for customers,
we always try to establish the most efficient use of your sprinkler
system to balance your costs versus the look of your property.
This usually starts with some combination of the above mentioned
techniques but as we learn your property and some experimentation
may phase into some changes in landscape to lower demands for
water.
In the end, the heavy soils and natural conditions can make
it difficult for any single change to completely change an issue
on your property. Rest assured over time and talk we are always
trying to improve and adapt to your personal situation. Our
goal, achieving the appearance and cost you have in mind for
your property.
